Important Rules of Craps
If you find a table in a casino with the highest amount of yelling and shouting then you should know that it is a Craps table. It is one of the most exciting of casino games.
The game uses two dices and the table is specially built for the game. There are a number of rules involved in the game. Rules play so important a role in this game that beginning with the dice, they are replaced after almost every eight hours of use.
As a start, the Shooter is required to bet for at least the minimum on the table for the Pass Line or the Don’t Pass Line. The Stickman, the dealer, presents the shooter with five dices, and the player makes the choice to for two dices to roll. The unique thing about the game is that while throwing, the player handles the dice only with a single hand, and the rules of the game require the dice to hit the opposite end of the table. And, in case any of the dice falls off the table, the stickman inspects the dice before using them again in the game.
Generally, 20 players can play the game on a single table at one time. Another interesting thing about Craps is that in case you don’t want to throw the dice then you can bet on any of the players. The game continues to go around in clockwise motion, with each player getting the chance to roll the dice.
Each of the Craps rounds consists of two phases – Come Out and Point. The round is initiated with the shooter making one or more Come Out rolls. When Come Out Roll is 2, 3, 12, the result is known as Craps, and the round ends and the player loses the Pass Line. And, when the Come Out Roll is 7 or 11, known as Natural, the players wins for the Pass Line bets. The Come Out rolls of 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 are known as the Point.
